🍂Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. Suddenly, so many things become so little when we realize how blessed and lucky we are. 🦃🍁 I am thankful to be able to serve our community, current customers and future customers! 🍁

Fun Facts:

The first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924 featured animals from the Central Park Zoo. Though the parade stretched just two blocks, New York City went all out for what newspapers called "a marathon of mirth." Notably, however, there were none of the balloons the parade is known for today. Instead, there were live bears, elephants, camels, and monkeys from the Central Park Zoo. There were also floats with puppets, celebrities, bands, costumed Macy's employees, and of course, Santa Claus.

Thanksgiving leftovers led to the first ever TV dinner. In 1953, food corporation Swanson overestimated how much turkey would be consumed on Thanksgiving and had to get creative with 260 tons of leftover poultry. Using 5,000 aluminum trays and an assembly line of hand-packers, they created a Thanksgiving-inspired meal with the aforementioned turkey, cornbread dressing, gravy, peas, and sweet potatoes. The dish was sold for a grand total of 98 cents, and in the first full year of production, they sold ten million of them, birthing the prepackaged frozen meal industry.

Fortunately, I found my calling at a fairly young age. But what keeps me excited every day I come into the office is the people that I work with; my customers. I have a deep sense of responsibility towards them. If there is one thing that I have learned over the years, it's that if you take care of the customer, they will take care of you. My philosophy, which is shared by my team, has always been putting the customer interests first and it's been the key to both of our success. By taking the time to get to know people and discover what is important to them, we develop life long relationships. Most of our customers come to us by referral.

I'd like to share a little bit of my background and experience to give you a better understanding of me, my agency and team & my philosophies. I'm a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After college, I started in the insurance industry in 1990 working for State Farm. Prior to becoming an Agent, I worked in State Farm for a decade handling both auto & fire losses & delivering on the State Farm Pledge. During this time, I spent 5 years earning my Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Designation. You will not find any other State Farm Agent or for that matter, insurance agent, in the nearby area who brings that sort of experience to the table for their customers.

I am happily married for 34 years and am the father of a beautiful daughter. Personally, my passion is soccer. During college, I played Division 1 Soccer for LMU for 4 years and my love for the game continues today. I currently play both indoor & outdoor soccer and officiate/referee on the youth level for AYSO & USSF in the past. There is no better seat at the game than being in the center!

As an Agency, we have qualified for several awards over the years including State Farm Chairman Circle, SVP Club, Legion of Honor & the California Executive Office Trophy Club. I also have had the honor of being a four-time Field Developmental Agent training new State Farm Agents. My Agency was awarded the Rancho Cucamonga Small Business of the year in 2010-11. It's not all about the awards though. I am very active in the community, working previously as a board member for the Claremont Community Foundation, prior Board Member & Chairman of the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce. I also previously served on the board and Chairman of the Parents Association for the Webb Schools. I have been involved in fundraising efforts for the Movember Foundation, The Rancho Cucamonga Community & Library Foundation, Feeding America, The Rancho Cucamonga Pet Shelter & The Claremont Educational Foundation
